Frequently Asked Downloading and Printing Questions. Q1. I do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader. Q2. When opening a document, my web browser window goes blank and I never receive the file. Q3. I've downloaded a document to my hard drive, but I am unable to open it. Q4. I am unable to print the PDF files.
Q1. I do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader
Q2. When opening the PDF file, my web browser window goes blank and I never receive the file. Problem. Because of the large size of some of the PDF files, the Internet browser may take a long time to open the PDF file, or may not open at all - OR - You have an earlier version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and/or Adobe Acrobat Reader. Resolution. Step One below will most likely resolve this problem. If the problem still occurs, continue to Steps Two and Three. 1. In Adobe Acrobat Reader you can change your preferences to "force" the document to open in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
2. Use the "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." option to download and save the PDF file directly to your hard drive and bypass the Acrobat Reader plug-in.

Q3. I've downloaded the document to my hard drive, but I am unable to open it. Problem. You may not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Resolution. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader. A free download of the software is available at the Acrobat Reader website.
Q4. I am unable to print the PDF file. Problem. As there is high graphic content in some PDF files, a printer with adequate memory is required. Resolution #1. Try printing the file to a larger-capacity printer. Resolution #2. In Adobe Acrobat Reader go to "File", "Print" or (CTRL+P). In the print dialog box and click the "Advanced" button. Next, in the dialog box that appears CHECK "Print As Image" at the top and select the resolution output you prefer. Click "OK" to exit both dialog boxes. Resolution #3. Make sure you save the document to you desktop before printing. Resolution #4. Install the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
