Chillin', cold lampin', sitting here at home from rockin' some stairs. Just made a shake for dinner and will turn in shortly. Been practicing juggling at lunch for an upcoming performance at my friends Performance/Art Show/Freak Show at UCLA. It's this Saturday night from 6-10pm. The address is 240 Charles E. Young Drive, 90095. If you want to come it's free! Here's the flyer with all the info for the show. It's gonna be a freakshow!

Have you been to Fresh & Easy? I have.... and it is fresh and easy. =). They have a fun self check out and typical basic products. They come from Tesco in the UK and aim to have low environmental impact. Check out their Fact Sheet (PDF) which is cool. Today I juggled during my lunch break and burned some calories while having fun doing it.....

Had a wonderful weekend. Was able to free up some time and start a small painting project on a 3'x8' canvas I've been meaning to work on. Hit a good mountain bike ride in the Santa Monica's and then chilled a little bit. Was hosting a very nice out of the country couple who left Saturday back home to Germany. I showed them around L.A. a bit with the limited time they had here. We went to have some great Mexican food at a place called Gardens of Taxco. The waiter sang what was on the menu and we had a serenade performed right at our table. It wasn't bad either. Then walked down the Sunset Strip to burn some calories only to consume some more at a place called the Saddle Ranch. It's a bar that has a mechanical bull inside that you can actually make an attempt to ride. Most were fruitless and foolish attempts while in a drunken stupor. This place was beyond packed! Had breakfast up in Hollyweird at this known spot called The The Griddle Cafe. Supposedly stars go here but the only stars I saw was from eating too much food. Their servings are ridiculously gigantic! Gonna get ready for sleep now. Peace!

Howdy! It has been a while since I've been here as so much has happened the last week or so.... I'll give ya a breakdown. Have been hosting some travelers from out of the country which has been really fun and interesting. I've heared some great stories from them too. Have to be a good representative of Los Angeles to counteract the bad that's here. Have been up near the Hollywood sign which many do not know that it was placed there to bring people in to purchase property. Plus, the sign actually used to say "Hollywoodland". The film industry just kind of claimed it. Went to the Hollywood bowl to see John Williams and the L.A. Philharmonic perform movie theme songs such as Star Wars, Close Encounters, ET, Superman and many others. Hit a Galaxy game at the HDC. Cruised through the L.A. River, downtown art lofts, beautiful Union Station, and Olvera Street. Biked at the beach on the path and walked by a surf competition in Malibu. It was funny because the waves were about 2-3 feet tall. A really exciting adventure was my old roommate had me as a guest on his boat in the Marina and went sailing for the first time. The waves started to turn my stomach but I was able to hang on. The bigger vessels are more forgiving. Now I have to hit the local farmers market to get my morning pastry. See ya!

This weekend finished up with the Olympics completed and the closing ceremonies which I will watch at my leisure without all the commentary and commercials. Played a game of chess on the beach with my old friend and tried to school her to play a more competitive game. The water was nice to dip the feet into as it was very hot. Hosted a traveler from Dresden, Germany which was cool too. Went to the bike path and hit the Pacific Palisades and then down to Venice Beach. Hit Anawalt Lumber for some gravel for the yard and Osh to get a key cut. Cleaned my kitchen and bathroom which needed it and put away a bunch of stuff. Now I have to hit goodwill or give some away. Funny thing this morning when I was about to drive over to work a spider had made a nice web and was sleeping in the middle of the INSIDE of my car..!! I think it got there from when I was transporting some plants. So I caught it and placed it outside in the bushes to roam amongst the other bugs and beetles.

My new friend. Well said. I just couldn't pass this one up!

Monday, August 18th 2008
Damn I wish I had 3 weeks of straight personal time to do all the things I have on my list. Right now I'm having a nice afternoon cup of coffee eating the last piece of fudge that I bought at Littlejohn's candies in the Farmers Market over the weekend. Talk about being wired for the rest of the evening. Over the weekend I did a bunch of cool stuff. I went to see a movie at the Landmark Theatre and saw Vicky Christina Barcelona by Woody Allen. It was funny and the storyline moved along so fast I actually wish the movie was longer. Saturday I had breakfast at Dolores' in WLA and then walked down the street to a couple art stores to compare prices to buy a canvas. Utrecht and Blicks seemed competitive so I bought my un-primed canvas cut from the roll from Blicks. Then I met up with my friend and she took me to get my hair cut at a place in downtown L.A called Salon On 6. It's right near 6th and Spring in the heart of where the Downtown art walks happen. Her friend suggested it because she lives just around the corner with her hubby in a beautiful loft with a cute dog and kitty. In the evening I met up with some friends in the part of town named Little Ethiopia and had an Ethiopian dinner at Nyala and topped it off with dessert at Red Mango. Then chilled for the evening and watched a little bit of the Olympics. Sunday I had risen early to watch the start of the EPL season with Man U vs. Newcastle. It was a great game and I'm happy that the season has now started. It's hard to believe that it has been 9 months since attending a game last year at Old Trafford. Next was doing the household chores, laundry, etcetera and priming my canvas before the sun became too hot. Then it was time to grub some brunch at a cool place called Quality. Hit Ross dress for less and bought some shirts then went home to post some stuff on Ebay and prepare for the week. I do have a couple extra tickets still for Madonna at Dodger Stadium. Email me (minerone@ca.rr.com) if you are interested. Chilled again and watched some Olympics. Now is now.

Friday, August 15th 2008
YAY payday today! This week has passed by too fast. Finally got my last shirt I sold on Ebay shipped from the post office. It's great simply going through some stuff in the closet and cleaning house a bit. It's cool how you can post something on Ebay to make a little pocket change. I did miss a day of posting and some emails this week because my power went out the other day. Down the street from me the police had the street blocked off due to 4-5 power transformers exploding and knocking out the power for blocks. So I grabbed all my frozen stuff from the freezer and high-tailed it out of there. Can't wait to catch up on some sleep this weekend as earlier this week I volunteered to answer phones for the KCRW pledge drive. It is one of the local radio stations with great programming that I like. Talking about programming... I think I've given up on watching the Olympics on TV as the way it is broadcast is nothing but commercials and talking sports announcers. It is cool you can watch it live online although I have yet to try that. Hmmmm... Maybe this weekend. Now it's time to figure where to get some art supplies.

Monday, August 11th 2008
What a fast but long feeling weekend which seemed to start on Thursday night. I've been listing some stuff on Ebay the past few days to both clean house and to get a little extra gas money. We all could admit that we have too much "stuff" and listing items could be a full time event. A freind of the family invited me to the Hollywood Bowl to watch the Los Angeles Philharmonic performance of French Masters. The conductor was Christian Zacharias and to take in the concert it was a typical warm and beautiful Southern California evening. Had a chill Saturday hanging at the beach in Santa Monica, stopping at the Gap because I have a gift certificate to use and looking in Borders for a book called "Losing Control" by Saskia Sassen that they did not have in stock. ARGH! I like how books that you deeply are interested in reference other books of value. Had a nice vegetarian omlette & grits breakfast Sunday at a local cafe called CJ's near the folks. Relaxed to watch some Olympics on the tele, hang in the yard and garden a little to enjoy the outdoors and pet the local kitties. My friend had a BBQ in the valley Sunday afternoon which I hit after checking out a couple Ross stores randomly looking for some cool shirts. Tired now from staying up late online and preparing for today. Gonna sleep like a big baby later.

Wednesday, July 30th 2008
Heya! Went to a cool concert last night at the Mayan downtown. I had never been there and the place is a nice cozy concert venue. The interior and exterior design looks to be designed after the famous Mayan Temples. The concert was an opening band whose name I can't recall, Does It Offend You Yeah and the headliner Bloc Party. The show was great! Had dinner just beforehand at the historical Pantry. Yummm! I also think I sold my extra Madonna tickets. That's right.... I said Madonna. I think I have a couple more so if you are interested drop a line. Now I gotta eat my strawberries from the local Santa Monica market. Peace!

Tuesday, July 29th 2008
Had a wonderful 25-30 mile mountain bike/street ride over the weekend in WLA and the Santa Monica mountains. It was seriously HOT! Made it down to the bike path on the beach which was relieving after being in the hot hills. Watched the Galaxy play a game which they had if I remember correctly 1 (ONE) shot on goal the whole game. Now if they could score on that one shot and not allow any goals against we would be in good position in the standings. But our defense has been very porous of late so there's room for improvement. Had dinner at this great Brazilian place called Bossa Nova. They serve excellent grilled vegetables and plantains. I would advise all my friends and strangers to try this place at least once. Have a good day.

Tuesday, July 22nd 2008
Finally got the stitches out of my leg and was able to have a good workout on the stairs. Felt like an apathetic invalid that had a compulsive eating disorder the past week. Went to a thing in Santa Monica over the weekend called Glow. It was to be in time with the grunion run which is hilarious and amazing to watch. Watching the fish was the best part of the evening. Watched a theatre show called The Very Brady Musical in the valley. I recommend going to see the show as it is very funny and runs until August 10th. Of course watched some of the Tour De France because it just hit the mountain stages and about 10 cyclists still have the chance of sporting the Yellow Jersey. Picked up a couple more frames of photography from my friends frame shop. Now I have to figure where I want to hang them.

Friday, July 18th 2008
So glad it is Friday. Will be heading to an appointment and then dinner. Not sure what I want to eat as of yet but I'm feeling Mexican food at the moment. I need to figure out a new script for my contact info on my site. Anyone care to help? I'm receiving no help from my hosting service and I'm at a loss as to how to do it. I'll keep trying though. I guess I'll have to teach myself again and/or look on Google for a possible answer. My buddies band is playing this weekend which I may decide to go see. They are called Eternal Triangle and playing out in Highland Park or something like that. I would love to get a game or two of chess in as well. Any takers?

Monday, July 14th 2008
Had a wonderful weekend. Just had some Cream Of Wheat today buddy. Added to my nice warm bowl of COW a little honey, some walnuts, a cut banana and some cinnamon. Was able to get a little bit done around the pad. Cleaning and getting rid of unnecessary items lying around. Watch out Ebay... here I come! I started a couple small packs and letters and want to finish later when I get home to drop into the post for my friends overseas. Will work on that later. Also, I have to upload some pics to get enlarged at Costco to send out as gifts sometime as well. Watched some Tour De France over the past week and would love to have a go at one of those Pyrenees mountain stages but without the 100 miles or so of biking leading up to it. "Hats-off" to those guys. Finally got my stitches out but have to wait at least another week before I could do any kind of exercise. I feel as if the past week has been a lethargic comatose eating binge. Soon my "bling" belt will not fit my waist and I'll have to eat those FDA approved diet pills while playing Grand Theft Auto on Gameboy to lose some weight. Met up with a couple of my good old friends for the first of 3 meetings to discuss logistics for a performance/art show at UCLA. Think performance arts by the "House of Freaks" at a tinker-like roaming carnival. Now back to the grind of the week and hopefully it will roll smoothly (and fast). More later me bee-yotches..!!

Tuesday, July 1st 2008
Just had some Enriched Hominy quick grits. What a filling breakfast. Should be good for cleaning out the system as well. If anyone is looking for an apartment let me know as my friend is subletting his in Santa Monica for a really fair price. My homie is clean too. Damn hot outside and would love to be in the mountains smelling the fresh sage and watching the lizards sun tan. May start looking for a new job so if anyone needs to hire someone please contact me. I'd love to work for a national park or local park if possible. Be outside ya know. Will scour the internet too. Just joined a great cause online which lends out "micro loans" to people in need. The site is called Kiva and the concept behind it is really well done. You can "loan" money to someone who has asked for a loan and has created a profile. Then it is monitored by a micro lending bank in the country you pick. It is paid back where you can re-loan the money. It's WIN-WIN.

Monday, June 30th 2008
Happy Monday! Back at work after a wonderful weekend. Had a nice early morning cardio bike ride Saturday morning to the beach, up the bike path and back home. The sun burned through the overcast/morning fog just after I finished which was pleasant. Love the fog! Relaxed with the folks and ordered some OBAMA merchandise online to have shipped to the office. Gotta support the smart candidate once again. Sunday was a perfect day to meet with my soccer "real football" buddies at the Kings Head to have breakfast and watch the EURO 2008 final. Spain vs. Germany was an exciting game which Spain took 1-0 on a beautiful goal by the Liverpool forward Torres. What a speedy mo-fo! I'm so glad that the game was not decided on those dreadful penalty kicks. Afterwards I chilled with my homies for a bit and played a game of chess with a nice elderly guy in the Palisades Park which overlooks Pacific Coast Highway. He schooled me. I think he was even playing reserved.... Maybe not... But it is a great way to learn and get better when playing someone else who has both the wisdom and skill as he did. I wish I could chill with the old man everyday. So on that note be kind to your elders and have a great day.

Wednesday, June 25th 2008
Germany vs. Turkey at 11:30am today for the first semi-final leg of EURO 2008. I don't know who I will root for out of the last 4 teams remaining. I will have to choose the underdog or one who has not ever reached the final. I just would like to see it end on a good goal. NO PENALTY KICKS PLEASE! I just made some Cream of Wheat for breakfast. I place on the top a little honey, cinnamon, walnuts and a banana. Can you say YUMMM? Finally was able to start in on organizing my computer at home as my buddy wants me to change some images on his site. Oh noooo... the sun is coming out now. So nice and overcast this morning that I wish it would stay that way. Gonna jam now to get some stuff done.

Friday, June 20th 2008
Went to a cool movie preview the other day at what I think was the Writers Guild of America to see The Hulk. The movie I felt was a little long but it had some great special effects and stunts. Tonight I think I may go to another screening to see the movie Get Smart. I have not decided yet as I want to work on some personal projects. Also, if you care about what happens to your hometown and country please sign this petition.

Friday, June 13th 2008
Happy Friday the 13th! Had a half day at work but gotta run out to a couple appointments. Check this YouTube video by Planned Parenthood about McCrap McCain. You better think..!! Also, my friend Tim sent me a link to my friends obituary online. Nate "Rival" will be missed!

Wednesday, June 4th 2008
What a wonderful last few days. Total ups and downs with things happenin'. First some sad news. A friend of mine passed who happened to be very young but he had a fun life. He could not overcome his bout with alcohol and when he made the decision to clean up his body couldn't take it. Nathan "Rival" was one very talented kid and will be missed by myself and many others. On another note I had a cool focus group which discussed interior and exterior of a new car which will come out I figure next year. Got paid $125 bucks for 2 hours of time which is not bad. It was in the valley during the weekend and the air smelled like horrible burnt plastic because of that fire at Universal Studios in their film vault. Then I had a nice dinner with my ex-GF who lives out there which was yummy. That was the weekend. Last night was a great art auction in Venice on the Abbot Kinney at the G2 Gallery. It was to save the walls in the Venice Beach Pavillion area for the kids to receive free permits to paint. The piece I donated sold and I'm still trying to find out what it sold for. Tonight is Game 6 with Detroit vs. Penguins. I want a game 7.... We'll see.....

Tuesday, May 27th 2008
Buenas! What a wonderful loooong Memorial Day weekend it was. BBQ filled the air. The weather was great. Kicked it outside and got some good stuff done. Watched the Galaxy at the HDC win 3-1 with a great looong Beckham goal. Had a nice walk to eat breakfast in the Miracle Mile area of L.A. to a place called Doughboys which just opened up next to The El Rey Theater. Then topped by a friends pad in Park La Brea said hello and then hit K-Mart for a new pack of men's briefs and a couple shirts for work. Hit the Farmers Market/Grove for some pics and then headed home. Made some coffee, kicked it in the yard to watch the parents of these birds work vigorously to feed their young in a nest very close to the ground. Did some nature stuff too..... looked online how to hand pollinate the flowers of a cherimoya tree and tried to be a human hummingbird. Then had to drop off my homie at LAX for a flight outta here. All my friends are on vacation now and I've been the chauffer. DAMN! Monday was chill to get back into work mode. OK. time to go through emails.

Tuesday, May 20th 2008
Hola hijos. WOAH what a supah fast weekend. Was so busy yesterday I was not able to post anything so I'll do it now. Friday was chill cause after work I went over to Costco to look at what I could possibly do to upgrade my computer system. Then had dinner with the folks at this AWESOME Mexican food restaurant called Guelaguetza. Went to sleep at about midnight and went to breakfast with my friend as she wanted to treat me to a belated b-day meal. Finally had breakfast at a local joint called the Fiddler's Bistro. Had some good food and conversation and then headed over to another old friend/teacher/boss in Santa Monica for an Indiana Jones trilogy. This was cool to watch cause I barely remember the movies when they were out and had to brush up on what was happening before the new flick comes out later this week. I think they may get a group together to go see the opening.... but wait..!! there's more. Afterwards I hit the hangars at Santa Monica Airport to see a video installation my friend was showing for her MFA. Topped off the weekend meeting up with my artist friend Rich for breakfast then a mellow bike ride and then hitting the stairs for almost an hour. Paid the price though... was waaaay sore. OK now gonna have some blue corn tortilla chips with some organic hummus. YummmMM..!

Monday, May 12th 2008
Howdy kids. Hope you had a wonderful weekend like I did. Fun filled that flew by much too fast to be back at work. I just had some fruit for breakfast and a homemade cookie from my boss. Yummmm. Friday night I finally went to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to attend "The Kids In The Hall" with my friend Carol. The show looked sold out and they did a splendid job. Had me ROTFL (rolling on the floor laughing). Saturday was a mellow day which consisted of sleeping in and relaxing and then hitting some lawn bowling with my friend Caren. It's a 14th century game which I had never done before and thought it was a great way to relax and enjoy the outside. Great way to socialize as well. There was a couple English blokes who taught the correct way to bowl. I believe they were retired. Later that day I went to the Galaxy game at the Home Depot Center and you guessed it..... "Brit" night it was. Sported my England jersey but my hometeam lost 2-1 against the NY Red Bulls. It was nice to hang with Nix, Lauren and Jamie for the game... WOOHOO! Sunday was Mother's Day and started with a sleep in and soccer game on the tube. Then I cooked her breakfast and chilled. Received a surprise phone call from my friends in Nicaragua which was brief but nice and then hit the stairs in Santa Monica for a workout and Trader Joes for the weeks worth of food. Now I need a vacation......

Wednesday, April 23rd 2008
Chillin' now after a nice small pasta dinner. Bought some fresh veggies at the local market. The basil was snisash! Gonna post some stuff online and say "wuttup" to some folks. Saw the movie "Into The Wild" which was sad. I knew the outcome cause I had read the book ages ago. Now I'm about to check on the football scores of the day. Man U and Barca. I wonder who will be in the final?

Saturday, April 12th 2008
Happy Hot Saturday! Just arrived back from a nice mountain bike ride in the Santa Monica Mountains. Rocked my route in record time. Was feeling good today for some reason. Bought some strawberries from a street vendor as well. Gonna wash these puppies off and have a feast. YummmmMM! Will be checking to see if the NHL playoffs has started and find a TV to watch them on (at least during the weekend). Just finished transferring over my domain and hosting service too (thanks Jennifer for helping configure my email settings). If you need to contact me hit me at minerone@ca.rr.com and I'll get back to you. Reason being is that I can't seem to figure out where to drop my sendmail page and the Contact page is not working at the moment. Anyway.... gonna run.. Holla!

Friday, March 28th 2008
Happy Friday. If you happen to read this Friday. HA! Anyhow If you happen to keep in contact with me through these pages of nonsense I write then please take note that I'm changing my hosting service and registrar. Just in case you see this site down does not mean that I have abandoned you. I still love you all. (except refucklicans).

Wednesday, March 19th 2008
Happy Wednesday. It is the 5 year anniversary of our numbskull administrations aggression and illegal war in Iraq. I can't wait until next January when he can never set foot in office again and all re"fuck"licans will be voted OUT! The shitfuck (GWB) still doesn't get it. His greed based religious war will soon come to a close. I would rather vote for a donkey than a refucklican forever! I hope his ugly ass daughters wedding gets ruined too. ANYHOW..... I went to a fabulous documentary movie last night to watch "King Corn". Everyone should go see it or try to find when it will air in their location. I saw the 60 minute version and afterwards they had a discussion panel with the director, a nutritionist from Kent in the UK and a local chef/caterer who I've met (Jennie Cook). PBS will air the 90 minute version sometime in the near future. Now it is time to get some fresh organic food from the farmers market. Have a wonderful day.

Monday, March 17th 2008
Happy St. Patty's Day! What a wonderful weekend it was. Windy with some very light drizzle which made it easy to work in the garden. Potted some cherimoya trees and gave their roots a little breathing room. Watched some good futbol on the tele and went to watch some roller derby where they had a lady sing the Philippine national anthem. It was The Sirens vs. The Fight Crew. Think Suicide Girls on quad skates. Of course the weekend was too short and now a word from our sponsor.

Friday, February 29th 2008
It's leap year god damn it...!!! So go fuck a republican. Go OBAMA!

Friday, February 22nd 2008
Hello for a nice wonderful overcast and supposed to rain Friday. Saw a cool movie the other day called "The Iron Ladies of Liberia" at this cool indie theatre. It's about the first woman president there trying to clean up all the corruption and get the infrastructure back into working order. Go check it if ya have the chance. Chillin for this evening and gonna catch up on my reading and emails. Hopefully I'll feel up for a nice mountain bike ride this weekend. Should be drizzly and cool. Nice time to ride 'cause most folks are pussies and stay home and watch "Lost" or "America Doesn't Have Talent". God damn mother fuckers don't ya have something better to do? Anyways, I have to write some snail mail letters too. Yes I said snail mail. OK... More later.

Wednesday, February 13th 2008
It's Wednesday now and it is Santa Monica Farmers Market day near where I work. The streets are blocked off and they overcharge you for the organic blueberries and strawberries because they drive it to you and set up their little tent. How organic can it be if they burn so much fossil fuels to get it to the market? Ponder that. So this is one of the days I decided to ride my bike to work so I did not have to deal with the parking structure of all the folks coming to buy up all the flowers and organic shit. Yes, you can call me a hippocrite as I do drive but I do my part by riding my bike around town to both save time and contributing to the depletion of the ozone layer. Blah blah.... I went to a great documentary movie yesterday at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills. it's called "Operation Homecoming" and is spoken words, poetry and first hand stories from US soldiers serving in Iraq and Afganistan. It's stories the media do not show the public and you can only feel sorry for the soldiers as they will be FUCKED in the head for the rest of their lives. Who knows... maybe one or two of them will be the next Columbine, mall massacre gunman or Vet with a sign asking you for money on the street corner that OUR government ALWAYS neglects once the oil has been won. Thanks George. You FUCK! I wish they would just be brought back home. Anyhow, I have to go eat some breakfast and do some work. WoooorD..!!

Friday, February 1st 2008
Happy Friday night! Worked late but it was a cool last couple days. Went to a cool brazilian movie at the Landmark Theatre to see Alice's House. It was about supposed typical life in the Brazilian community. I believe it was filmed in Sao Paulo. Now I have to work on packing up a CD I sold on Half and go get some dinner.

Wednesday, January 16th 2008
Sitting here at my desk looking at the morning mist burn away pondering about a visit to the weekly overpriced farmers market downstairs from my office desk. Really relaxed now from a great late evening workout on the stairs which I rocked 23 times. Just hoping that my knees and joints hold up for a few more years. As of late I've been addicted to those online profile pages having fun with messing around with uploading pics, books I've read or currently reading, etcetera. Recently my friend Jamie let me borrow a book called "Fever Pitch" by Nick Hornby which I have just started to read. It is about a guy who remembers his life through his favorite futbol (soccer) team (Arsenal) and each futbol game he has attended. I actually like this team too as their game is one of the most exciting brands of play. Go Gooners! Thanks Arsene. Going to go make some more coffee and some Cream of Wheat for breakfast now. Lates!

Saturday, January 5th 2008
Good early evening. Had a wonderful sweet bagel today from Panera. It had brown sugar on the top and reminded me of junior high school during recess when we bought the little coffee cakes. YummmMM. Then went to pick up my new pair of glasses from the optometrist. The frames are really cool burgundy and blue and from a Danish company called Prodesign. Picked up some 8 x 10 photo enlargements at Costco from my recent trip that look fabulous. Just went to the Salvador Dali exhibit at LACMA and the art they were showing for Dali was splendid. There was also some films of his as well. Now I'm going to have dinner with the folks and watch the Kings play Calgary. I hope it rains more tonight..!!

Friday, January 4th 2008
Happy New Year and happy rainy Friday. I'm lovin' this weather and 3 days of it is expected. Jammed outta work early to rock a good workout on some local stairs. There was a few folks there too rockin' them. Now tonight I'm gonna take care of some errands and maybe pick up some shopping at a Trader Joes somewhere. Maybe get some Pinkberry while I'm out or play a game of chess. First I gotta wash my stinky self.

Sunday, December 30th 2007
Looks like a lovely day outside. Going to make a breakfast shake then scan some pics and get the hell outside. Here's a cool trolley picture that I took in Goteborg. What ya got going on for the New Year? I think I will read a book and go to sleep early to avoid all the craziness..!!

Monday, December 24th 2007
Happy holiday season whatever your holiday may be..!! Chillin' at the folks pad now working over some pics that I'll be throwin' online soon. Here's one to check in the meantime. Peace out!

Wednesday, December 19th 2007
Whew..!! What a long haitus from posting here. Back in this shitty L.A. at work waiting for '08 to come knockin'. In the meantime you can check out this dope fresh non-chain coffee house. It is a fun place to go to with the super strong coffee and art on the walls. It's called Cafe Balcony.

Friday, November 2nd 2007
On vacation..!! Email me from my contact page... I'll get back! Peace!!!

Wednesday, October 24th 2007
Can you believe the Kings won against Nashville 6-0..!! I had to pinch myself this morning. Lets hope that they can continue and not have to start thinking about the first round pick this early in the season. Just came back from the Odyssey Theatre from a great play called "This Lime Tree Bower". It was 3 Irish blokes telling some good stories. It's worth a check out. Sleepytime now.

Wednesday, October 17th 2007
Chillin' at the house nice and relaxed from doing the 4th Street stairs in Santa Monica. Rocked 'em 21 times. Had a nice shake for dinner and have a good portion saved for breakfast. Gonna email some of my relatives now. Ta.!

Tuesday, October 16th 2007
OMG..!! The Kings won tonight. First home win of the season.

Monday, October 1st 2007
I had a little baby snail on my raspberries this morning which I noticed after I had washed them. I kept it on a couple that I was going to toss until lunchtime and then freed the lil' bugger in some nice moist bushes in the park.

Monday, September 24th 2007
What a wonderful rainy weekend we had. I'm wishing for more. Everything is so vivid and clear. Hmmmmm.... How long will it last? Went downtown over the weekend to see my friends art show at Redcat right next to Disney Hall. Cool show. Installation style. Then walked across the street to Moca and had a quick spin around there. Hit the Home Depot Center of course for a Galaxy win against Dallas. They managed to get Denilson from the Brazilian national soccer team to play for them. OK... dinner time.

Friday, September 21st 2007
It's 4:44pm and I hope it pours with rain tonight..!!

Saturday, September 15th 2007
Went to see a cool concert of 3 new bands I had not ever seen perform. It was at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollyweird. The bands who played were Built To Spill, Camper Van Beethoven and The Delusions. They consisted of mellow, rock and progressive rock. It is so nice out side now that I have to go eat some Green Tea Mochi and read for a little bit. Moving right along.....

Good morning. Had a relaxing weekend. Went to the Galaxy game at the HDC to support the local team and came away with a good victory of 3-1. Also watched on the tele the USA and Brazilian national teams play an exciting 4-2 game in Chicago. (Brazil won). Did a couple errands such as my laundry in my new super deluxe laundry room, spoke to my cousin who will be getting married soon.... YAY..!.. and chilled in the garden with some Ikea coffee (Mellanrost) to almost finish the book I'm reading. I have another lined up to get into. Now back to a full week of work. No more holidays until November.

"Ellow ellow". Wonderful long weekend we had. Tad bit warm but still able to do some yardwork. Went to see the Subhumans last night at the Knitting Factory which was a nice small gig. Good music and great people at the show. Bought their new CD called Internal Riot but have not had a chance to listen to it yet. Went to the Galaxy game Saturday which they should have won. They need to pick it up because they are running out of time for their most iconic player who retires at the end of the year. Cobi Jones. Gonna make some pasta and garlic for dinner now and go meet some old friends. Ta!

Tuesday, August 28th 2007
Just sat outside by the beach on the cliffs in Palisades Park to chill for lunch and read a little in my current book called "Soccer with the Enemy". chatted briefly with a cool couple that sat next to me to eat their pizza. It's hot out with a slight breeze and I'm a bit tired because last night (really early this morning) from 2:30-3:15am I watched part of the full lunar eclipse we had. It was amazing! Here's a picture of it.... What do you think?

Wednesday, August 15th 2007
Freaking bird shit on my pants while I was playing chess in the park with my homie. Then I come back and while eating lunch I drop a pear on my pants that I changed into. Then I'm eating yogurt and splash my shirt. WTF...??? Have a nice day.

Sunday, August 12th 2007
Just watched the Galaxy play some bad soccer in New England (Please bring in the Bex). They even let weak ass Taylor Twellman score against them. Hit Trader Joes and did some good shopping for the week. Bought lots of veggies and fruit. Time to put it away. Hung with my homie and briefly went to LACMA to watch some outside jazz band perform some good tunes and then had some dinner at a place called Bulan up in Hollyweird. Time to prepare for the morning.

Thursday, August 9th 2007
Go check out a movie called "This Is England". It is playing at the Landmark Nuart in West Los Angeles. ENGLAND..!!

Monday, August 6th 2007
Happy Monday! Was at KCRW for a "business" meeting with my old school DJ friend and met up with a couple friends to play some chess while having a nice cuppa coffee at insomnia cafe over the weekend. Was able to watch a couple soccer games too. Chelsea and Manchester United for the Community Shield which is a cup to start off the season. It basically is the two top teams from the end of the previous season. Watched the Galaxy play in Toronto for the first time to a 0-0 tie. Finally was able to put together the futon from IKEA. BTW - It's comfy. Was invited to a Bat Mitzvah down in Orange County which was fun with a good lunch afterwards. Met one of my old art friends who is in The History of Los Angeles Graffiti book and he gladly signed it for me. Now it is back at the grind for the week. Moving right along......

Monday, July 30th 2007
Had a wonderful weekend. Was able to catch up on some sleep. Met up with and old friend who is a great artist and bought some cookies from a nice couple who happened to be passing by. Their company is called The Cookie Experience. She was selling her cookies out of a wicker basket which all the cookies were wrapped all pretty. Thanks for the Ginger Snap cookies La Keisha..!! Watched some of the Tour de France and soccer with pops. Did a couple errands and went to a housewarming party near Downtown Los Angeles. Sunday consisted of heading to IKEA to get a new futon and some of their wonderful imported food products. Bought the 55 inch Lycksele with a black cover. Bought some organic cheese and some of those lovely crackers to spread it on. Now I have to figure out how to put it together......???? Wish me luck.

Monday, July 23rd 2007
Watched the craziness Saturday night at the Home Depot Center with David Beckham being treated like god. I have not seen so many non-soccer fans at a game before. They probably didn't even realize the quality of players the other team Chelsea has. The game was fun to watch as Becks played something like 13 minutes. Sunday was a chill day and this morning we had a tease of rain. I hope it rains some more.

Sunday, July 15th 2007
What a week. We had 2 days recently with strange dates. 7-7-07 and Friday the 13th for you superstitious folks out there. Fun weekend it was. Was at the Home Depot Center for the announcement/arrival of David Beckham to the Los Angeles Galaxy. (But I was really there to see Posh Spice). Let us hope Becks turns the season around and has the Galaxy play good as well as selling the most jerseys. Saturday was chilling with a couple friends for the afternoon and evening. Sunday consisted of a nice trip to the Adidas store on the "trendy-corporate-assed" 3rd Street Promenade to get some autographs on a jersey. Chelsea FC from the English Premier League signed autographs for their fans. I bought the new kit and had the team sign it..!! I think I will have to frame it. Here's some pics...

Information below was dictated by Bertha Cowan to Muriel Cowan.

"I was born in USSR November 14, 1901 in a small village where Jewish children were not allowed in school - Parsheen near Iskovitz. I grew up there until age of 9 and in 1910 sneaked across the border to Germany and then to England. Crossed the British Channel in a German ship, sleeping in the hold. Settled in London and started school at Redmond Road in East London unable to speak a word of English. They called me "lousy" as my hair was cut short (I knew this wasn’t complimentary)."

I'm still in shock that the Ducks from California won the Stanley Cup...!!! I went to game one at the Pond which was electric. Here's the USA National Anthem just prior to face-off. Congrats Ducks! Well deserved and I hope the team is still together next season. Saturday was cool as I was finally able to get my new tires on my mountain bike and take it for a spin up Westridge in the Santa Monica's. They created a firebreak line where some kick-ass single track used to be. Oh well..... Gotta wait until the next heavy rainy season to have the trail carved out again. Went to The Laugh Factory Saturday evening where some of the comedians of course picked me to tell jokes about. I was a good sport. =).... Sunday was chillin' with the folks doin' chores until the evening then a gig in Hollywood at The Knitting Factory to watch a band from the UK called The Varukers. Good gig... Tired now......

Friday, June 1st 2007
So glad this was a short week. June now... can you believe it..?? Happy that it is Friday. Gonna chill at the house and work on my buddies site.

Tuesday, May 29th 2007
Finally back from a welcomed hiatus from my computer. Was in Honduras and Nicaragua in Central America relaxing meeting new folks, touring and hanging with family friends. Will post some pictures when I'm unpacked and settled. Last night I had the opportunity to attend the first Stanley Cup game at the Pond in Anaheim. The Ducks won 3-2 in dramatic fashion. Time to go read. Peace.

Tuesday, May 15th 2007
Howdy.. Had a nice dinner with the folks and got to chill with the cat and watch some hummingbirds. Also watched the Ducks play a horrible game 3 in the Western Conference Finals. Detroit is now up 2-1 in the best of 7 game series.

Monday, April 30th 2007
Damn weekend is over already. Was eventful anyhow. Watched the Galaxy play a wonderful game at the Home Depot Center against Chivas USA Saturday night. Galaxy won the game. Sunday consisted of an early mountain bike ride in the Santa Monica Mountains through Will Rogers State Park. It was really foggy and you could see the clouds roll over the trail that I was riding. Kept the ride cool as well because later in the day it was HOT...!!! Just arrived back from running some stairs for a little workout. Shower time..........

Thursday, April 26th 2007
It's now really hot after work and the sun doesn't set until late. This is good because it enables me to hit the trails after work.... Yep, you guessed it.... Just got back from a kickin' mountain bike ride. It had been a while so I was struggling. Will be up to par soon. Looking forward to the weekend. Lots to do. NHL hockey will be the highlight.

Friday, April 13th 2007
Friday the 13th huh..?? Niiiice. I'm not one for superstitions. I think hockey playoffs start this weekend..?? YEAH bOy..!! Finally I hooked up my mountain bike which has been in pieces the last 2 weeks. Just installed a new bottom bracket, seat and tires will be on it soon as well. Now I hope it works..... Will have to take it for a spin this weekend. Now it is time to make some dinner.

Thursday, April 12th 2007
Arrived back from the Home Depot Center watching the Galaxy play FC Dallas. We lost the game 2-1 and should have won... No Beckham was not there yet although a couple I always sit next to gave me a Man U jersey. Thanks Victor and Harriet! I will sport it with style. Now off to sleep and to prepare for the weekend. Peace...!!!

Monday, April 9th 2007
Just did my taxes.. WOO HOO..!!

Sunday, April 8th 2007
Hello. Sitting here Sunday night about to hit the pillow for some good old dream action. Fulfilling weekend it was. Had breakfast at the Pantry in downtown Los Angeles. I love their breakfasts! Went to the last Kings game of the season at the Staples Center which was fan appreciation day. They won the game 3-2. Watched the game with a co-worker friend of mine.... Too bad they are not in the playoffs. Also, watched the home opener of the Chivas USA team at the Home Depot Center play Toronto FC. Chivas fans are very passionate. It was the Canadian teams inaugural game. I was cheering for the Canadian team as I always root for the underdog. The seats were fabulous with a perfect view of the mid field line. Good game it was. OK.... goodnight.

Wednesday, April 4th 2007
Had a great game of chess at a cool little coffee house near Santa Monica called Cafe Balcony. They serve siphon brewed coffee which is really tasty and strong. Plus they had some live music from a singer with a nice electric keyboard set-up. They have free wireless internet connections as well.

Monday, April 2nd 2007
Happy Mondays!! Had a fun filled few days here. Watched a great documentary movie called "Black Gold" which is about fair trade for the coffee farmers in Ethiopia. It will make you think about coffee the next time you go to purchase a cup. Had a wonderful workout on some stairs and hit a good inline skate on the bike path in Santa Monica. Sunday consisted of going to Fan Fest at the Home Depot Center for the Galaxy. Heard the GM speak and meet some players. Hopefully we'll have a good season.

Monday, March 26th 2007
Had a great weekend. Was able to do lots of cleaning whcih always makes me feel good. Watched some soccer on the tele. The US mens national team played well against Ecuador and won 3-1 with a hat trick from Landon Donovan. Was able to workout on some nice stairs and stop by the local Performance bikeshop in Santa Monica for some well needed bike parts. Still need to put the dang thing back together. Maybe this weekend. Also my Peter Ganine chess set arrived in the post and the thing looks beautiful. Wanna play?

Thursday, March 22nd 2007
What a cool evening yesterday. Scored some tickets to see Matty Norstrom return back and play his old team.... Kings vs. DallASS Stars. It was also a Luc mini jersey giveaway night. Those things are pretty cool. Also I've ordered online a vintage chess set from the late 50's. It is a cool Gothic set that is cast from a mold froma Russian sculptor name Peter Ganine. Anyone up for a game? Just arrived back from an after work mountain bike ride in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was niiice other than falling while going around a gate. Got myself scuffed up pretty good. So silly. The good thing to come now is FRIDAY..!!!

Tuesday, March 6th 2007
Please check out this art show (Invite back). It is a benefit for a good friend who has come down with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Many great artists will be involved. I wish I could go but have a previous engagement. Had an extra Kings ticket which I just sold. See you there and enjoy the game Jamie! Just made an awesome smoothie in my blender for dinner and have a nice portion leftover for a kick-start breakfast. Want the recipe? Email me... Now I have to do some work. C'ya..!!

Monday, March 5th 2007
About to dive into my recent book and then go to sleep early. The book is an autobiography about an Irish international soccer player named Roy Keane. Just ordered another book online because I'm almost done with this one. Also, diving into a bag of frozen mango from Trader Joes. Yummmm!!!

Saturday, March 3rd 2007
Off to chill with the folks and have dinner. Just arrived back from a good exhausting 3 hour mountain bike ride. It is beautiful out.... This morning I watched a little of Chelsea play Portsmouth. Good game it was. Now I have to call my friend as it's her B-Day today. Maybe bring her some cake. Marathon tomorrow. Going to support them all! Cheers.

Saturday, February 24th 2007
Off to pack the groceries away that I bought from Trader Joes then to the Los Angeles Kings game tonight. I hope they play good this evening.

Friday, February 23rd 2007
Gonna go get a pizza for dinner tonight. I wonder if any good EPL games are on this weekend? Will be checking the schedule shortly. Lates!

Monday, February 12th 2007
Did you watch any soccer this weekend? It was perfect with rain to stay in and watch Arsenal win over Wigan in the closing minutes. Lehmann received a yellow card for his usual funny antics. Had a good bike ride in the hills and nice local hike. Went to eat breakfast at the Pantry downtown and then watch the Kings game on the tele which they won over Nashville. Best place for crappy music. HA..!! Back to work now. Holler at me..!!

Friday, February 9th 2007
TGIF.! This week flew. Looks like rain. I hope so. Have a bunch planned this weekend so it is a welcome change. May take a cruise outta town..?? Gonna go make some early dinner. Probably a couple veggie burritos and watch a rental DVD or some taped drama shows like Monk and chill.

Sunday, February 4th 2007
This weekend has been great! This morning I watched Manchester United play The Spurs and won 4-0. The game was closer than it seemed. Had a nice dinner the evening before with the folks and helped them out a little bit. Made some Rice Krispie Marshmallow Treats too.... Hit a nice mountain bike ride today which was a little better than yesterdays ride. Nice and hot with a breeze.... Couldn't have been better. Needed the exercise. Just finished shopping at Trader Joes and Whole Foods. Stocked up and bought some fruits and veggies, pastas and sauces, some soy and rice milk, and some other goodies. Now I have to put it all away and then off to Rachel & Georges pad for an evening of Fondue. YummmMMM... Have a good night.

Friday, February 2nd 2007
DANG..!! Kings played well but lost in overtime to the Chicago Blackhawks last night. The game was fun to attend because they gave away a Dave Taylor mini jersey. Just add water and you can wear it..!! Have a good weekend.

Wednesday, January 31st 2007
Just a regular work day here. Went in early and brushed through some emails. Walked across the street for a coffee (Cafe Mocha) and made a deposit at my local bank which happens to be across the street. Left a bit early from work to go to my local post to mail some letters and packs. Then came home and made a nice pasta dinner with grilled veggies and tabasco sauce. Now I'm trying to create a shopping list for this weekend on my desktop. I know I'll forget something.....

Tuesday, January 30th 2007
Mellow evening here. Just made a shake for dinner. Going through emails and writing some snail-mail letters to friends. Gonna read my book and hit the ZZZZzzz's early tonight. Hasta manana. Ciao!

Monday, January 29th 2007
Happy Mondays!! Weekend was CRAZY. Had to work both days but still managed to have some fun and play. On Saturday I was able to sleep in and worked for a little before watching the Kings play on the tele at night. Was able to dive into this really cool book I'm reading at the moment called "The Icelander". It is a non-fiction murder mystery but the setting is real as it has made references to many different places in Iceland. Sunday was hangin' with the folks and helping them with a plant sale and fund raiser at the community center they attend. It is open to everyone who lives in the area. There was a silent auction, food booths, plants, ice cream and inflatable moon bounces for all the snotty nosed brats. It was all good fun and was a benefit to help raise some funds.

Tuesday, January 23rd 2007
What a fun filled few days it has been. Saturday was a sporting day at the Home Depot Center in Carson where the USA mens national soccer team played the Danish national team and won 3-1. They had a couple good goals by some of the younger players. After that was a nice dinner at the Pantry in downtown Los Angeles. Pasta with tomato sauce then off to the Kings game where they retired Luc Robatille's jersey. They played Phoenix Coyotes and lost the game 3-2.     :-(    . It still was a fun filled evening. Sunday was chill. Watched a magnificent EPL game. Arsenal played Man U and came back with 2 goals late in the game. Chilled with the folks after and took a trip to Chinatown to pick up a couple things. Monday was crazy and back into the work grind. OK off to my emails now.... Cheers.

Thursday, January 18th 2007
Damn Kings lost again. Also it snowed here Wednesday.. Crazy HUH?

Monday, December 11th 2006
Had a great weekend. Went to the Kings game at the Staples Center. They won against Colorado. They came back from a 2-0 deficit to win 5-4. Sunday morning I watched Chelsea play Arsenal to a 1-1 draw. Both teams had the chance for the 3 points but Chelsea had the last chance going off the post. The whole game was quality and fun to watch. Hit a kick-ass 22 mile mountain bike ride and passed through Will Rogers Park in the Santa Monica mountains. Sunday night I went to a movie/slideshow at the Egyptian Theatre to see "What Is It?" by Crispin Hellion Glover. Was really weird and deranged. I still don't know what to make of it. I think it is a mixture of dreams, poetry and absolute garbage. A 5-year-old can make something like it.

Wednesday, November 29th 2006
Finally back to the computer with a little time after a weeklong extravaganza for Thanksgiving in Tennessee. YES... That's right.. Tennessee. It was the last place I thought I would end up but I have to say that the Smokey Mountains National Park was beautiful. That was the highlight. The dim part of the trip was all the Jesus freaks that live there. I never thought I would be so happy to be back in this shithole of a city.... Los Angeles. At least this city has a multi cultural setting with far fewer bumper stickers that say Jesus, NRA, W, etc.... The funniest thing I passed by was a store called "The Rebel Store" flying a confederate flag. I felt as if I time warped 100 years in the past while I was there. Had a great weekend as I watched 2 of the top futbol teams square off. Chelsea and Man U. Quality it was. Went to a Kings game which they beat Calgary. The best thing is now the weather has become a little colder. Now I hope it rains.

Friday, November 10th 2006
Feeling a little more proud to be geographically American now. No more "Free-Pass" bitch!

Sunday, November 5th 2006
Just arrived back from a cool gig up in Hollywood at the Knitting Factory. Four bands played tonight but I only watched 2 of them. The first was Citizen Fish from the U.K. and the other was a band I have never heard of or been to live called Leftover Crack. They were OK. I would like to hear more from them though.... Watched some MLS playoff games over the weekend to see who would be in the final. It is New England and Houston. I'm rooting for New England as they have never won the final. Another good match over the weekend was Chelsea v. Tottenham Hotspurs. Oh yeah.... had a nice mountain bike ride and did some gardening over the weekend as well.... too nice to be indoors the whole weekend.... Good night.

Thursday, November 2nd 2006
Damn... Already November and gotta go pay the rent. So glad tomorrow is Friday. I have a dentist appointment too. Don't worry.... Just a cleaning. Was at the Staples Center last night to watch the Kings lose to the Penguins in overtime. Damn. Ran into an old friend from school and had a cool chat. Anyways.... Do you like Antarctic penguins?

Saturday, October 14th 2006
Saturday and I hope we get more rain like yesterday. It is a welcoming change! Tonight is the Galaxy playing their last game at the Home Depot Center. The Kings are playing at The Staples Center as well. I don't know which one to watch? Also tonight is an art opening that should be great! It is being put on by CONART and will be at the Crewest Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. It is in Gallery Row and I believe other galleries are opening their doors this evening for a night on the town. The show tonight is called "Stop Biting" and features many old-school L.A. Based artists. CHECK IT..!!

Monday, October 9th 2006
Yo Monday night peeps! Chillin at the pad about to read and hit some ZZZZZ's. Had a great weekend. Took the folks to the Los Angeles Kings home opener at the Staples Center for a night of dinner at the Arena Club and hockey. The Kings won 4-1 too..!! Both Saturday and Sunday consisted of a good bike ride in the great Santa Monicas. Watched a good subtitled Icelandic movie called "The Seagull's Laughter". It was about a woman who comes back to her hometown from America and stirs up trouble. Was able to finish some art and complete half of an art trade with my artist buddy as well. Just waiting to see what I get..!! Just arrived back from the 4th Street stairs and a killer work out. Did not feel like it at all but rocked it. OK off to my book.... Lates!

Tuesday, October 3rd 2006
Yo! Already October.... Next stop Halloween. Went to a great documentary last night at the NuArt Theatre. They have done some good renovations and upgrades to the interior and exterior. The seats were most comfortable. The movie is called American Hardcore and will only be playing for the rest of the week. It documents the music, what it stood for, and where it is now. Worth checking out and supporting your local theatre. Have a nice day. Please rain!

Thursday, September 28th 2006
It's freaking Thursday.............

Tuesday, September 26th 2006
Had some nice apple pie a la mode and some coffee at The Pantry downtown last night. Of course the Staples Center was rockin' last night as well. The Los Angeles Kings were down 3-0 on home ice with about 3 minutes to go in the 2nd period and they came back to win the game in a shootout against the Ducks. Good job. Now I have to write some letters to friends.....

Monday, September 25th 2006
What a grand weekend! Wish it did not end. Watched an episode of Poirot at Carol's. Had a couple great dinners. Went on a mountain bike ride and tested the new handlebars I put on my bike. Have added some well needed upgrades for the bike and bought a bunch at Performance in Santa Monica. Helped the folks clean out their garage which made pops happy. That was a serious workout. Went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl Saturday night. It was called Totally 80's Night. The bands were ABC, Psychedelic Furs and Human League. They are all from the U.K. The show was not a sell-out but a great turnout with many folks dancing. OK More later......

Wednesday, August 23rd 2006
Hello! What a drab day at work. I'm currently working on a project that has too many cooks in the kitchen if ya know what I mean. Yesterday I managed a great ride in the mountains and crushed my regular time when I race myself. No use of EPO (endurance-boosting drug). Will have a nice pasta dinner with lots of garlic in a little bit. Simply going through my emails and realxing for a bit first. I just learned about the Bosman ruling. It's about a player involved with futbol (soccer) who won his court case for a team transfer. OK dinner time.... OH YEAH... Hockey season is about to start! Go Kings.

Saturday, August 19th 2006
Awesome Saturday! Had a nice cup of tea with the folks this morning and planted a couple succulents in pots to place in their backyard. Met up with my buddy Rich and hit a fabulous well-needed mountain bike ride up Westridge. "Hello" Doberphile. Now having my famous after biking shake and will shower. Will meet my friend Dara this evening before she disappears for her PHD back at school. Movies or work later...??? Hmmmmm time will tell.

Friday, August 11th 2006
What a beautiful night it was yesterday. I attended the Hollywood Bowl for a splendid evening with the L.A. Philharmonic. It was a full moon or near full moon with a nice clear sky. Today I was given my "Summer Hours" which I'm able to leave early. Talk about extra time..... More later.

Monday, August 7th 2006
I'm leaving my homepage the same because Rich XPRESS tells me to leave it.

Tuesday, August 1st 2006
Had a great weekend. Painted for a comic book shop/gallery/book signing in Hollywood. The comic shop is called Meltdown which is a cool store indeed. Many great comics/toys/etc... Will have to check it out some again. Got to see some of old friends. Jennifer, "Seltik" - Darren, Claudine and Colin. Chatted for a while and watched many of my other friends paint "live" for the book signing. Met many other cool folks as well. Overall it was a great event and hope to do more of them. Had to work Sunday. Bummer.... More later and hope to get pics of the paintings up here.

Monday, July 24th 2006
Please people.... Do you now believe in "global warming"...??? We all contribute. Try creating a lower inpact yourself by riding public transportation a couple days a week to work. Ride your bike or walk as it would make a little difference. C'mon you lazy fuckers! Went to watch a speed metal band from the 80's over the weekend play at the Long Beach Arena. The band is Slayer and they are still pretty good. Managed to get in for 10 bucks and got to the floor with absolutely no effort. Last but not least.... watched OUR BOY Floyd Landis win the Tour De France.

Thursday, July 20th 2006
Went to a very enlightening and truthfully scary movie which topic should be at the center of attention around the world. It is called "An Inconvenient Truth". It is by our year 2000 president Al Gore who also has a book with the same title. Worth supporting and is nothing to laugh about. We CAN all do the right thing and cut down the impact on the earth which we all create.

Tuesday, July 18th 2006
Wow it has been a while since updating the page here. Thanks for being patient. Busy creating new Digital work here and at my job. Have been on vacation and just getting back into the swing of things in this shithole of a city. Many of my friends are getting married. It's great. Was in Germany for the World Cup. AMAZING!! Pics to follow. Have to catch up with work and home stuff and will post soon. Had a wonderful weekend. Went to the GoGo's reunion tour at the Greek Theatre. They rocked! Played all thier old tunes and then some. Was sitting in the 5th row! Saturday Was hitting the trails for a mountain bike ride and was it DAMN hot! Saturday night consisted of chilling at the Chivas vs. Galaxy game at the Home Depot Center. Not at the caliber of the World Cup but it is what we got. Plus no lame ABC announcers like that baseball guy. Geez! What an insult. Sunday consisted of a movie called "Once In A Lifetime". Yes it is about soccer. Was a documentary about the New York Cosmos in the 1970's with Pele, and many other stars. Had great interviews, footage and insight of what went on behind the scenes. Brought back memories of the days attending the Los Angeles Aztecs. Anyway...... more later.
